Clarissa Ward is a seven-time Emmy award winning journalist and currently the Chief International Correspondent for CNN. One of the first reporters to cover the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, her career has been marked by documentation of prominent international conflicts. She coordinated Fox News’ coverage of the capture and execution of Saddam Hussein and covered the war in Afghanistan for ABC and Syrian uprising for CBS. Ward has also spoken at the UN Security Council on Aleppo and reported on the Russian Security Services’ pursuit of Alexei Nalvany in the 2010s as part of a documentary on the issue.
