Dear Alumni,

I am very happy to welcome you to Hilary Term 2025, and to present you with the new term card.

As we begin a new term at the Oxford Union, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the enduring legacy of this institution and express our heartfelt gratitude for the continued engagement and support of our alumni community.

The Union has always been more than just a debating society—it is a place where ideas are exchanged, friendships are forged, and history is made. Thanks to your contributions, we continue to build on this extraordinary foundation, creating opportunities for current members to engage with world-renowned speakers and debates that challenge the status quo.

This term, we are proud to host a remarkable lineup of speakers, thought-provoking debates, and special events that celebrate our shared heritage and the vibrant intellectual life of the Union.

To honor our alumni and your invaluable role in this legacy, this term we are delighted to invite you to an exclusive piano concert with our official piano partner Kawaii in the Union’s historic premises.

This special event, taking place on February the 22nd, will feature a perfect blend of music, history, and camaraderie. It will be an evening to celebrate not only the timeless beauty of music but also the enduring connection between our alumni and the Union’s current community.
