Saber Hossain Chowdhury MP

Saber Hossain Chowdhury is a Bangladeshi politician and Member of Parliament from Dhaka, holding office since 2008. He was the youngest member of the cabinet serving as the deputy minister at the Ministry of Port & Shipping and later at the Local Government, Rural Development & Cooperatives between 1999 to 2001. Chowdhury was the 28th President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) for three years since 2014 and was awarded an Honorary President upon completion of his term. He is the Chair of the Parliamentary Standing Committee of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. For his leadership in promoting parliamentary relations, he has been recognized with the highest state awards, Order of Friendship from the Russian Federation (2017) and Vietnam (2018).

Nihad Kabir

Nihad Kabir is the President of Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dhaka (MCCI), where she is serving her 5th consecutive term. Ms. Kabir has over three decades of work experience in the legal field and leading multiple multi-national, local corporates and non-governmental institutions. Through the MCCI, she engaged with the Planning Commission of Bangladesh to ensure recording of the climate adoption and adaptation related work being carried out by the corporate entities. As a Board Member of Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL), she is involved in the promotion and financing of renewable energy and green infrastructure projects. She is a Board Member of Air Quality Asia, an international air quality advocacy group building on a successful parliamentary action model with the goal to secure a breathable future for Asia.

Nahim Razzaq MP

Nahim Razzaq, a Bangladeshi Politician and member of Bangladesh Awami League, is an elected member of parliament for three consecutive terms from 2012 from Shariatpur, one of the most climate vulnerable districts in Bangladesh. He is currently the Convener of Climate Parliament Bangladesh. Mr. Razzaq was a member of the Parliamentary Standing Committees Disaster Management and Relief. He is also an advisor of E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (E-CAB). In 2015, Mr. Razzaq was awarded the Junior Chamber International-Top 10 Outstanding Youth Person (TOYP). He is the founding convener of National Youth Platform called Young Bangla.
